The Effect of Utilizing Google Translate Application on Enhancing EFL Writing Skills at the Primary Stage.

This article aimed at investigating the effect of utilizing Google Translate Application on enhancing EFL writing skills at the primary stage. The researcher used quasi experimental design. The participants were 60 pupils from Kafr Sakr Basic Primary Stage, Sharkia Governorate ,Egypt, who were equally divided into an experimental and a control one. To achieve the aim of this article, the researcher designed Writing Skills Checklist, Pre-Post Writing Test and a Rubric, in addition to a Student's Book and a Teacher's Guide, which was taught to the experimental group via Google Translate Application, while the control group received regular instruction. The experiment took place in 2024-2025 at the beginning of the first term. The results indicated that the experimental group outperformed the control group that received regular instruction.
