Abstract:
The research aim to designing a group of outerwear suitable for women bearing a set of modern characteristics and features and meeting needs of women in light of fashion lines, trying to find various design alternatives for the same model in order to facilitate, simplify the process of choosing appropriate clothes to hide some physical defects using modern techniques that save designer time, effort, the cost and availability of high-quality, competitive design product. To achieve its objectives, research followed the descriptive-analytical approach. A number of (4) groups of proposed women's costumes were designed, using Edrawmax program, each group includes (5) various designs, and (20) suggested designs for modern women's fashion were prepared, including (abayas, dresses, tiyurat, and women's suits) , suitable for wearing Periods , occasions (morning, afternoon, evening and evening) , suitable for different body styles for women and used to hide some body defects, then evaluated through the opinions of arbitrators and consumers using (2) an evaluation form directed to (specialists, consumers, "research sample"). After evaluating the proposed designs and recording data and treating them statistically, the research reached the success of the proposed designs, as they achieved high acceptance and satisfaction from the referees and consumers, as the best proposed designs came in achieving the evaluation axes (aesthetic, innovative, functional, economic and marketing) according to the opinions of the arbitrators Design No. (2) in the first group of gowns With a quality factor of (96.76), and the lowest proposed design was design No. (4) in the second group of dresses with a quality factor of (70.09),The best proposed designs, according to consumer opinions, came Design No. (2) in the first group of gowns with a quality factor of (98.3%), and the least suggested designs were design No. (4) in the second group of dresses with a quality factor of (74.8). For women, size (42), Properties by aesthetic, functional values, and suitable for modern women and hides some physical defects.
